Sarah Durham: Welcome to the Smart Communications podcast. I’m your host Sarah Durham and I’m the CEO and founder of Big Duck, a communications firm that works with nonprofits experiencing significant growth and change so they can leverage communications in more powerful ways.

This podcast grew out of a series of discussions we had here about how to make it a little bit easier for nonprofit CEO’s, communications staff, fundraising staff, or just people who are passionate about nonprofit communications to learn and grow in manageable ways. These days not as many people want to read a blog or read books but a lot of people do have 15 minutes of commuting time or maybe time while you’re walking your dog when it might be nice to get a little bit of inspiration and stimulation and learn.

So, throughout this series we’re going to bring you some conversations and reflections on nonprofit communications. We’re going to interview all kinds of leaders and partners and people who are doing exciting things. And, hopefully bring you best of what’s on their minds so that you can use it to make your organizations communications smarter, more effective and more powerful.

Keep us posted on what you think. My email address is [email protected]. And I’m always excited to hear what topics you’d lie us to cover, what’s on your mind, and what’s working in your organization. Thanks for listening.

The Smart Communications Podcast is hosted by Sarah Durham, CEO of Big Duck and produced by Marcus dePaula. Our music is by Broke for Free.
