Sandy Zimmerman
Design Director, Worker-Owner
Since joining Big Duck in 2013, Sandy has gotten to merge her creativity, dedication to details, and pragmatic problem-solving together in order to lead dozens of organizations through visual rebrands.
With a Master’s in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, Sandy gained a full range of experience by working in branding agencies, as an in-house designer, and with her own clients. She was especially passionate about the nonprofit clients along the way, which eventually led her to Big Duck.
After 25 years in Brooklyn, Sandy is trying out a more rural lifestyle in Bar Harbor, Maine, where she’s been enjoying epic coastal scenes, hiking in Acadia National Park, and learning to embrace a long, dark winter.
Sandy is also the Chair of Big Duck’s board of directors.
