Ally Dommu, director of service development, teaches this two-day course at the regional group learning hosted by NeighborWorks America in Atlanta. This course provides a comprehensive framework for marketing nonprofit programs and organizations. Participants will explore branding, audience segmentation, market research, messaging, and evaluation. Through case studies and group exercises, you’ll learn how to align marketing goals with organizational objectives, develop SMART goals, and create a draft marketing plan. The course emphasizes practical tools and strategies for engaging stakeholders, selecting effective tactics, and measuring impact. By the end, you’ll walk away with a personalized marketing plan outline and the confidence to present it to leadership.
