How to leverage your anniversary campaign to engage supporters (two-part series)
Hosted by Big Duck
April 16, 2026 2:00 pm–April 16, 2026 3:00 pm
As nonprofits reach significant milestones, celebrating anniversaries offers an opportunity to tell your story, reflect on your impact, and inspire action. In this two-part webinar series, we’ll share approaches, examples, and guidance for deciding on your anniversary campaign strategy, theme, and plans to engage your community.
Hosted by Big Duck’s co-director Claire Taylor Hansen and Ally Dommu, director of service development, we’ll explore how to use these campaigns to focus on the future while celebrating past achievements, ways anniversary campaigns can launch new initiatives, and how to highlight your values in the campaign identity and materials. We’ll also discuss how an anniversary celebration should recognize not just your nonprofit’s work but the collective effort of your partners, donors, staff, volunteers, and community.
Through exercises, worksheets, and practical tips, participants will gain insights they can apply to developing strategies, themes, and materials for anniversaries that engage the community, raise funds, increase brand visibility, and more.
Attendees will learn:
- Strategic considerations for evaluating if and how to celebrate their anniversary
- Opportunities to use milestone anniversary campaigns to tell your nonprofit’s story and inspire action
- Practical strategies and tips to develop an anniversary campaign plan and creative theme
A Q&A session will follow each presentation.
