Winter open house

Big Duck regularly holds open houses to connect with individuals and nonprofits who’d like to learn more about us. Each open house includes a brief overview of our work, a Q & A session with one or more of our staff members, and the opportunity to ask questions and network.
For job seekers and career transitioners
We encourage job seekers, people thinking about transitioning into nonprofit communications jobs or agency life, and people who are interested in informational interviews with our staff to attend. You’ll learn a little bit about what we do and be able to share your your interests, ask questions, and give us your resume. We’ve hired open house attendees in the past.
If you’re curious about Big Duck but not ready to talk specifics we encourage you to attend. You’ll get a quick overview of what we do and sense of our team in a no pressure environment.
We look forward to seeing you at our open house and saying hello in person. If you plan to attend, here’s the agenda to help you make the most of it:
5:00 PM: Wine, cheese, and networking
5:15 PM: Members of our team will give a brief presentation and answer questions
5:45 PM: More networking and the opportunity to connect one-on-one with Big Duck’s staff
6:00 PM: Wrap up! We’ll close the doors and head out
