As a student of international religions, cultures, and history, Monzurat’s biggest passion is culturally competent communication because she believes that even the best messages can fall flat if not delivered properly to the right audience. This belief is what brought Monzurat to Big Duck as a strategist.
Monzurat worked at several early-stage startups and nonprofits prior to Big Duck. She brings a wealth of nonprofit marketing experience and deeply understands the challenges that in-house communications teams face.
Monzurat earned her Bachelor’s in International Relations with a focus on Arabic Language and Literature and a Masters of Arts in African Studies from Stanford University. A Brooklyn native, she enjoys the diversity of the city and will chat your ear off about why she’ll never leave New York no matter how many times the L train breaks down.
