As a strategist, Kathryn brings a passion for problem-solving, research, and continual learning to their work in supporting Big Duck clients, as well as a deep personal commitment to racial and gender justice.
Prior to joining Big Duck, they served as a consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners, working with clients across a multitude of industries and sizes to refine their brand and marketing strategies. Before that, Kathryn interned at Chicago Beyond, supporting their antiracism program and working toward youth equity in the city of Chicago. Kathryn graduated from the University of Chicago with degrees in anthropology and economics, where they focused on studying the intersections between race and technology.
When they are not at Big Duck, Kathryn can be found learning to sew their own clothes, reading queer and POC science fiction, or in the kitchen baking cakes and attempting to recreate their dad’s Yunnanese dishes.
