As an account manager at Big Duck, Brenda brings her experience in logistics, planning, and community organizing to the team. She approaches her work with a focus on long-term goals, attention to detail, and a commitment to social justice movements.
Before joining Big Duck, Brenda led organizations advancing immigrant rights, labor organizing, and civic participation. She organized actions, trainings, and conferences with workers, faith leaders, students, and political leaders.
When she’s not working on Big Duck projects, Brenda enjoys hiking with her son, playing music, and screen printing in her garage. Brenda has a Master’s in Divinity from Vanderbilt University, where she wrote her thesis on Joyful Resistance. Originally from Mexico, she now lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
