Mapping your organization’s role in an ecosystem: What, why, how?

In this session, Farra Trompeter, co-director, will explore ways to broaden perspective on the role your nonprofit plays in creating change.

It’s easy to focus on your organization (its mission, challenges, needs) and make decisions from that vantage point. However, mapping your role within a larger ecosystem–all the nonprofits, people, narratives, initiatives, trends, wins, defeats, etc. around your issue area–will help you have the greatest impact. We know that collective efforts succeed and move us toward the future we want to see: one of healthy interdependence.

Participants will learn new ways to think about partnership and how to bring their colleagues on the journey.
