10 ways to make your website smokin’ hot this summer

With record-breaking temperatures and weekend getaways, your website may not be top of your mind these days. But the summer can be a great time to reflect and experiment before the busy days of back-to-school and year-end fundraising sneak up on you.

At May’s 501 Tech NYC (a local meetup for NTEN members and their friends), we were happy to host Allyson Kapin and Jared Seltzer of Rad Campaign, a full service web agency for nonprofits. Together, Allyson and Jared discussed the latest website trends and shared some helpful ways to make your website better.

If this is a topic you want to learn more about, start by watching the video and slides below. You can also check out these wonderful recaps:

Special thanks to Lane Beauchamp and Mo Brady of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS for donating their awesome video skills and filming the event.

You can also join our 501 Tech NYC group on Facebook—it is open to all. And if you want to see what sessions we have planned for the future, take a look at our page of upcoming events.

Oh and speaking of websites, I recently talked a bit about this myself. For more pointers, check out the recording of our recent webinar, “Is it Time to Rethink Your Website?”
